Now considered one of the seminal records that helped to create the Seattle Grunge scene. The cover photo taken by Charles Peterson, depicting both front man Mark Arm, and guitarist Steve Turner, perfectly reflects the record. Full of wild over-driven guitar and Arm’s strong vocals this record worked its way into the ‘1001 Albums to Listen to Before You Die’ and Kurt Cobain’s top 50 albums of all-time. The title pays homage to two of the band’s favourite pedals, the Univox Super-Fuzz and the Electro Harmonix Bigmuff. These two pedals allowed Mudhoney to create their signature dirty, distorted sound.
