• THE KORGIS were a classy pop act who enjoyed significant success in the early 1980s. Their entire output for Rialto Records appears here for the first time.

• The band were formed in 1978 by two former members of Stackridge, Andy Davis and James Warren and scored their first hit with ‘If I Had You’ in 1979 (UK #13).

• THE KORGIS will be forever synonymous with the title track of this new 2-CD package, which gifted them a smash hit in 1980 (UK #5, US #18, Australia #11 France #1, Spain # 1, Netherlands #3, Germany #3). ‘Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime’ was subsequently covered by the likes of The Dream Academy, Yazz, Beck, etc.

• This double-CD package boasts all of the band’s recordings for Rialto, including three whole albums: The Korgis (1979), Dumb Waiters (1980) and Sticky George (1981), as well as all of the band’s period A and B sides. ‘Wish You A Merry Christmas’ makes its debut on CD.
