Though it made little commercial impact on its release in 1972, Rare Bird’s ‘Epic Forest’ has since been widely acclaimed as a classic of the pre-punk era: a unique album that fuses the emotional reach of classical music with the harmonies of Sixties pop. 

This album is somewhere between Procol Harum, The Moody Blues and West Coast Psychedelia, and “Epic Forest” is one of the masterpieces of progressive rock. (file under Prog and Pop-Sike). 

Features three bonus tracks that were given away as a 33rpm 7” with the first edition of the original album.
