Pornography

The Cure's excellent proto-shoegaze master work Pornography. Sandwiched between the gothic, darkwave aspects of Robert Smith's mind (Faith, Seventeen Seconds etc.) and the broader, poppier, further polished material later on, Pornography stands as one of three albums that Smith considers to perfectly summarise The Cure (the other two being Disintegration and Bloodflowers).
