āAngry Songsā by Omega Tribe is anarchist punk atits finest, with powerful unrelenting lyricism, causticriffs and an immediacy that came to define thegenre.
It was produced by Penny Rimbaud plus PeteFender and included Hugh Vivian on guitar andvocals, Daryl Hardcastle on bass, Pete Fender onguitar and Pete Shepherd on drums.
The band have recently reinvented themselves,are creating and releasing new music, and theyhave a new album out.
First released on 7ā vinyl, limiting the sound, thenew repressing has been remastered for 12ā atAbbey Road Studios, allowing the release to beheard as never before.
This, plus enlarged replicas of the original covers,brings new gusto to the already radical sound.
